Elegant-style building, a decent size and functional rooms with free coffee making facilities, a huge balcony, for instance. Good and unbeatable location convenient to west hill, in the pretty quiet area.

A very relaxed location in the middle of the countryside. Lovely location with woods all around. Very close to 3 excellent golf courses. Very friendly staff.
We must have had the squeakiest bed in the world. It was very annoying.

Great location for Wentworth Golf Club.
Stayed in Room 60. Toilet was installed too close to the hot towel rail.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds in leafy Surrey. The room was large (I was in the Lodge) and had more than adequate. The decor in the main hotel was stylish and, although we ate out in nearby St John's Village in the evening, the breakfast room was spectacular and the breakfast was excellent.
No complaints whatsoever, especially at the discounted price of £69 for the room.

Clean tidy and a good standard

Beautiful grounds, historical charm of the building, variety of event spaces
The check-in process needs serious reevaluation!!! Having to wait long periods at reception only to be told there's no early check-in feels downright unprofessional. The lack of toilet paper in rooms is baffling!!!

an excellent facillity, though we were on a budget accomodation, the receptionists and other staff were professional, treatIing us with genuine courtesey and impecable manners, made us feel welcome. Though to have eaten in your establishment would have left a gapping hole in my pocket as buying a couple of drinks was costly enough, I am sure had we have done so would have no doubt experienced the same considerations and good manners. Though we were in basic accomodation, both rooms were clinically clean and comfortable. Your hotel and domestic staff are a credit to the hotels management.
whats not to like about it, nothing as far as I can acertain, drinks were somewhat expensive but thats to be expected to a point. The hotel entrance would have done credit to the British Army Training Facility at Pirbright, in so much that the entrance was excellently camoflaged from ready view. Would suggest a fresh sign and clearer entrance, easy if you are local, not if you are looking for the hotel shown on the website as you are hidden in the trees. God knows what local resident thought of a strange car zipping up and down the road. now we found you will book again.

Very nice grounds. Rib-eye steak very good. Room small but comfortable, with excellent shower-on-suite. Good breakfast.
Restaurant too busy, so had to eat in bar. Would have preferred rib-eye to have been served on plate, not chopping board! Slow check out due to problems with account of another guest and lack of receptionist knowledge. ( However she did apologise for the wait. ) Seemed to take forever to get onto the M25 in the morning.

I have stayed at much more expensive hotels and not had such a spacious room or bathroom (both were modern and well equipt). The hotel is so peaceful, never any noise from other guests, even though the carpark was almost full both nights we stayed (mid week). This hotel exceeded my expectations for three stars and is better than some fours stars I've stayed in for a variety of reasons.

the rooms were quite and clean, excellent bathroom, the meals were of a good standard and very reasonably priced. I would recommend Gorse Hill to my colleagues.
TV reception was poor although there was a notice to that effect in the room, one wonders how long they had been trying to resolve the problem.
